I am from Canada and did a trip to purchase two pups, well one pup and one teenager, was able to talk to Natalie numerous times with all my questions and she was amazing with answering it all and being a great support, plus such a personable and friendly demeanor. Her outlook on her breeding standards and the quality of her dogs is solid and you can see that high quality in her pups! Would definitely recommend for someone who needs a LGD or dog for guarding
I have known about Anatolian Shepherd for 30 + years I have Had as part of my family A Gsd , Rottweiler and Akita . I was Looking For A Tough Guard Dog and Companion for My Male Akita . My Main Concerns with any Dog is Health and Temperament !! Unfortunately in America when a breed becomes Popular it's Quality of Dogs Diminishes Greatly ! Thankfully Anatolians are Not Too Popular ! I Contacted Breeders and shopped around and Thank God I Found Natalie Thurman at Apex Anatolian in MT . I Have Had The Pleasure of Keeping the Company of My Precious Athena for 19 months !!! She is A Dream !!! Tough as Nails and Sweet as Tupelo honey Ever To Those She Knows and Loves . She is very Smart too. I have Never Met Natalie in Person but consider her a Friend . She Couldn't be More Helpful in Any way !

On a recent day trip to Apex, I had the chance to spend time with Natalie, her family and tour the farm.
These dogs are raised in a working family environment, which is fantastic for many families looking at an LGD breed.
The dogs were well socialized, friendly with an introduction and fantasically behaved with all the livestock and poultry on the farm.
We had a chance to interact with the other animals as well with everyone being happy and healthy.
Side note: the kunekune pork was literally the best pork chops I've ever had -- and I'm from Iowa!

Our family is SO grateful for Natalie at Apex Anatolians! We have gotten two amazing dogs from her. She is extremely knowledgeable about the breed, and goes above and beyond to match you with the right puppy for your family.Our hobby farm is in the woods, and we are so grateful for these dogs-they are true guardian protectors of our kids, and animals. Beautiful, healthy, and well socialized dogs!
